At Stories First, we believe elegance lies in the details. That’s why we don’t add white borders to our prints—we find they take away from the sophistication of the design. Similarly, our frames do not include a mat, as many of our artworks shine on their own and simply don’t need one.

Of course, there are cases where a mat can enhance the piece. If that’s your preference, the easiest option is to purchase the print alone and take it to a trusted framing store, where you can choose the perfect combination to suit your space and style.

Our box frame is milled from solid ash, hand-stained by our team and finished with a specialist wax to accentuate the grain. The frame has a box profile measuring 20mm (front face) by 33mm (depth from wall). 

Available in natural, black and white, all our frames are created from sustainably sourced wood. With each being hand-made and hand-finished, the corners are carefully glued, sealed and sanded.

We carefully cover your print with recyclable tissue paper, eliminating the danger of any scratches or folds.


Your order is then placed into a robust 100% sustainably sourced recyclable cardboard tube.

Our team ships your order, ensuring your prints are delivered safely.

Framed prints are securely shipped in heavy-duty cardboard boxes, with additional bubble wrap for extra cushioning.

Your framed or mounted art prints are protected on all sides with recyclable and biodegradable wrapping materials.

Strong recyclable archival foam made from recycled materials is then carefully fitted to make sure no damage can occur in transit.

Your order is placed into extra protective 100% sustainably sourced and recyclable card packaging ready for dispatch.

We are committed to sustainability and are actively working to minimize the use of bubble wrap in our supply chain. Whenever possible, we use recyclable bubble wrap, which can be disposed of at designated collection points.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days. Please provide clear photos or videos of the damage, including packaging and product. We’ll verify the issue and arrange a replacement or next steps. 

Shipping Insurance

All orders are insured during transit. Proof of damage is required for claims.

Returns are only accepted if the product is damaged or defective.

If your product is damaged or incorrect, we’ll provide a replacement. No returns for undamaged and correctly shipped products.
